Björkö Camping is now Merenkurkun Camping
Merenkurkun Camping is renting cottages by the sea daily or weekly. Our cottages are situated in the Kvarken archipelago, which is because of its unique nature, Finland’s only Natural World Heritage Site on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2006. We have clear and pure fishing waters with extraordinary landscape in summer as well as in winter. In our cottages You can relax and enjoy the peaceful harmony of nature or enjoy a variety of activities, such as biking or fishing.
Activities
Sauna by the sea
Firewood heated sauna for the guests’ use.
Rowboats and motorboats
There are five rowing boats for fishing and strolling. It is also possible to rent a convinient electric motorboat.
Fish handling facilities
Near the cottages are seperate places for fish handling and freezers to store the fish.
Barbeque ceiling
Our guests can use the barbecue ceiling during the stay to prepare their own dishes.
